FAQ's

  1. Do I need a referral from a doctor before scheduling?

No, you do not. We can see you for an evaluation first, and we will then reach out to your doctor for a referral/script. If you think you or your child can benefit from OT make an appointment to come see us!

  2. How do you receive payment?

Payments are made directly through our secure portal by credit card, debit card, FSA, or HSA.

  3. Do you accept insurance?

Rising Roots is out of network with insurance companies. This means that the patient is initially responsible to cover the cost of treatment, which is then often reimbursable to you by your insurance company (dependent on each specific insurance plan). We provide superbills for every session easing the process for you to submit them to your insurance company for reimbursement.

  4. What is included in an evaluation?

Evaluations are typically 60 minutes in length and cost $200. We provide a full assessment related to your/your child’s current skill level, areas of need for progress, explanation of the impacting  underlying foundational challenge, and how we will address those needs in therapy. Questions are always invited and answered, as well as provision of recommended targeted and specific follow up homework exercises. Ongoing support from your therapist is also always provided via email or text.

  5. What is included in a treatment session?

Treatment sessions are typically 45 minutes in length and cost $150. We provide fun and engaging interventions that are specifically targeted to your needs, at the level of a “just right challenge.” Ongoing education and home carryover recommendations are provided, as well as email/text support from your therapist between sessions.
