Chani Stewart, OTR, DRS

Hello! I'm Chani, a dedicated Occupational Therapist with over a decade of experience helping individuals of all ages live fuller, more independent lives. With a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from New York University and advanced training across clinical and outpatient settings, I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and women. My approach is always rooted in evidence-based practice, infused with warmth, creativity, and a deep respect for each client’s individual journey.

My Story

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving diverse populations - from newborns in the NICU to teens with neurological conditions, and from women recovering postpartum to professionals rehabilitating after surgery. I’ve worked across school systems, pediatric hospitals, and private practice settings, serving as Director of Pediatric Rehab. My clinical interests include sensory integration, orthopedic and neurological rehab, driver’s rehabilitation, and empowering families through parent education. I’ve also been honored to lead workshops for parents, teachers, and healthcare providers, because building strong, supportive teams around my clients is a key part of what I do.

Whether I’m guiding a child through playful motor development or helping a woman regain strength after surgery or childbirth, I see each session as an opportunity for growth, connection, and empowerment. I believe in meeting clients where they are—physically, emotionally, and developmentally—and tailoring therapy to support their goals with compassion and clinical excellence. I'm here to listen, collaborate, and champion every small step that leads to lasting progress.
